LN2 Screw/Auger
The micronization process begins with material entering a motorized screw/auger. In an ambient configuration, hot oil circulates within the shaft which helps dry the material and releases moisture.

UTM Turbo Mill
Material is fed to the UTM Turbo Mill which can operate in a cryogenic or ambient setting. The desired particle size and moisture release can be achieved by adjusting the shape and material of the grinding elements and the mill’s speed and temperature.

Air Classifier
Unclassified material is exposed to centrifugal forces inside the classifier wheel and vacuum forces outside it. By adjusting the classifier wheel’s RPM, blade count, spacing, configuration and vacuum pressure, precise particle classification and separation are achieved.

The BioChar Cyclone
In a heating configuration, the BioChar Cyclone suspends smaller material in a cyclonic centrifugal state and heat-treats it at 250-320 degrees Celsius. The treated product exits from the bottom, while water and hot air exit from the top.
